Honestly does anyone think I should rewrite the entire game
Will take me 1-3 months but it can be done and It will defenitly stop lagging.
The thing is that I think I’m wasting time trying to fix this code because it’s already too bad.

maybe have someone work on update separately and someone can still do updates, although what’s the point of updating something that wont be used i guess

The lag has nothing to do with the code. The lag is because of the servers location and the servers performance.
Code has NOTHING to do with lag. That’s just your server’s performance.
u should rewrite game, see if it is liked, and if it is better than the original, get rid of the original. (if not, just keep using the original), although i know thats more work
what about the loading that is in the code and it handles the images right? and i know images can cause lag
No the code is the reason, it’s poorly optimized. there are games with cheaper servers who can handle better.
