I don’t think he is going add weapons when ever it is discussed it comes down to it being swordbattle so if there where more weapons they would have to be new sword types like short sword,broadsword and claymore which would conflict with skins sense some of them are not swords it would be complicated to do

What about custom Death screens? That could be an idea. Basically you choose what it says when you die.
